It's Brewster Salmon Derby time again! Our host Hannah Pennebaker takes us along to the event, where the competition is fierce! With a record run of sockeye this year, the anticipation is high as they navigate the waters of the Columbia River, just near the mouth of the Okanagan River. Hannah and Brianna share valuable fishing tips and techniques, including how to prevent tangles while running multiple rods, and the best bait for sockeye, including juiced coonstripe shrimp. Along the way, they encounter a variety of anglers vying for the biggest catch, showcasing the community spirit that makes the Brewster Salmon Derby such a cherished event.
