Nova Scotia Bluefin Tuna

In episode 185 of Northwest Fishing, the crew heads off to Nova Scotia, where they team up with Tim McCulloch from the Ilwaco Tuna Club. They're on the hunt for the elusive bluefin tuna, renowned for their size and strength. The crew starts their day by scouting the deep waters and setting up for an exhilarating tuna fishing experience, using live bait and clever techniques to ensure they attract these magnificent fish.

When the weather takes a turn, the team takes a detour to target striped bass instead. Fishing onshore in Valentine's Cove, Rob, Hillary, and Tim have to wrangle these bass in, which are not only great sport but also delicious on the dinner table. 

As the sun sets, the anticipation builds for the next day’s bluefin tuna mission. The team is determined to return to the open sea, ready to face the challenges that come with fishing for one of the ocean's most formidable creatures.
