Tuna Fishing for Youth

Northwest Fishing embarks on a wet and wild adventure off the coast of Ilwaco, Washington. This special outing supports Gray's Harbor Youth Athletics, featuring auction winners Derrick and Barry, alongside Mark Bruener and the Ilwaco Tuna Club. As the crew sets out 25 miles into the ocean, they brace for the elements and prepare for a day filled with fishing excitement!

After navigating the challenging waters beyond the river, the team gets set up to troll for tuna using a variety of bait, including smaller cedar plugs and clones. With the troll bite a bit off lately, the crew is determined to find the fish and switch to live bait once they locate the school. Always poppin' tuna action in Ilwaco!
